Il 23 Marzo scorso era sì atteso per il lancio di Playstation 3 sul suolo europeo, ma in un certo senso avrebbe dovuto ricoprire il ruolo di Day One anche per il mondo PS3 underground: secondo quanto trapelato il team di crackers Paradox avrebbe dovuto rilasciare un iso loader.

I fatti hanno invece preso una piega diversa: è passata quasi una settimana dalla release della versione PAL della console e ancora nessun tool per l'esecuzione delle iso è stato reso disponibile. Fake, burla, cambio di programma, tante sono state le congetture degli utenti sulla vicenda, ma fino ad oggi nessuna risposta era stata data a tutti coloro che si erano illusi di poter smanettare con i backup dei propri giochi PS3, nessuna risposta appunto fino a questa sera.

Pochi minuti fa il leader di Paradox, attraverso il canale di comunicazione ufficiale del gruppo (gli .nfo delle release backup), ha scoperto le carte facendo il punto della situazione che vi riassumiamo di seguito.
L'iso loader è perfettamente funzionante su Playstation 3 NTSC dotate di firmware inferiore o uguale alle v1.50, la stessa cosa non vale per la versione PAL. Causa modifiche alla configurazione hardware, il tool homebrew non può essere eseguito correttamente sulla versione europea, sebbene il firmware 1.50 montato di fabbrica su questo modello sia identico a quello che equipaggia la versione giapponese e americana della console. Per questo motivo il rilascio del loader è stato procrastinato fino a che non sarà possibile garantirne un corretto funzionamento su tutte le versioni di PS3.

| And about a loader! there is getting worked on one, but when it |
| will be released or maybe it will not even. We cant give any |
| detail! Since what we already told there are a few problems with |
| PAL systems, and we dont want to give improper working |
| applications! And yes we have not lied about exploit holes or |
| anything, there are serious a few bugs in the playstation 3 OS |
| up till firmware 1.51. So even if we fix it or some other |
| dev guy no harm to the one who did it! There will always be one |
| the first guy! And since we didnt proof anything, all doors are |
| open to be the first! :-) |

| Also will there be any more special notes in new releases? |
| No idea, since it went a bit off limits, better stay professional |
| will santa say, and keep of the public and dont let your mind |
| play tricks with webguys ;-) |

| of LEECHERS moaning about our lack of 'special notes' or the fact |
| we haven't released a 'loader' for PS3 titles - something which I |
| feel is bang out of order since none of you f*ckwits have the |

| We have been working on something for a while in which yes we have |
| dropped some hints in some areas not for you to think 'the loader |
| will be released soon' - more so we've hit a stumbling block lets |
| see if anyone else can help get us past this stumbling block - |
| Something which had worked previously for other problems. But what |
| do I see now? We give a great big pat on the back to someone who |
| did a great job for a similar thing on the PSP and he has the nerve |
| to have a go at US! NO Alej... P. B. we dont need help from |
| outside, if we need help we will ask it directly to the person! |
| Not with the help of a simple txt messages which is public! We |
| rather play a match of football against you on your brother stadium |
| name.. then some kind of lame war! Respect to you! And not to |
| a friend who thinks hes god! Even we are not GODS! |

| We've been happly chugging along getting nice progress then got a |
| PAL PS3 and found it didnt work like it supposed to be! - seems |
| PAL is different in some ways, and no we know peoples will think |
| all firmwares are the same, so why would there be a different? |
| simple answer "Hardware". So were now trying to work on a solution |
| to this. |

| So an ETA on this??? Could anyone please measure a piece of |
| string!! All we can say is it will be ready when its ready. Were |
| not the type of group that releases shoddy goods so sit back and |
| give us the time required to sort it. |

| your own - oh sorry forgot your thick as fcuk and your knowledge is |
| limited to FTP downloads and WinRAR..... |

| And finally....you need to remember we dont always hang around as |
| the boss/PDX or whatever but what you don't realise is without us |
| you wouldn't have been able to get to where you are today. |
