Attraverso opportuni exploits che sfruttano i bugs presenti fino alla versione 1.51 del firmware sarebbe infatti possibile eseguire codice unsigned sulla macchina, incluso un loader per lanciare dal disco rigido della console le iso dei giochi. Nell'nfo si fa riferimento ad un TIFF exploit, vale a dire codice camuffato all'interno di un particolare tipo di file immagine eseguito da XMB (Cross Media Bar). Insomma la storia si ripete: l'hacking PS3 potrebbe presto percorrere la strada intrapesa dalla scena underground PSP.

| firmware 1.51 we still see holes! Why? You guys dont have the |

| 1.51 since 1.54 hasnt yet been tested, and 1.51 had a few tiny |
