Non è ancora stata ufficializzata da alcuna press, nè se ne parla sul sito ufficiale, ma la versione 1.54 del firmware della Playstation 3 è già stata rilasciata.
Nelle ultime 24 ore sono centinaia le segnalazioni di utenti americani e giapponesi che, collegatisi al Playstation Netwrok, si sono visti notificare la disponibilità dell'aggiornamento.
Non ci sono ancora informazioni in merito alle modifiche e alle novità apportate da questo update, ma visti i fatti di cronaca dell'ultima settimana possiamo tranquillamente immaginare che Sony abbia inserito in questa nuova versione i fix ai bugs utilizzati dagli hackers per introdursi nel Playstation Store e scaricare gratuitamente giochi a pagamento.
Nulla vieta di pensare che la v1.54 possa contenere anche una patch anti-loader, che renderebbe inutilizzabile l'homebrew dei Paradox di prossimo rilascio.

Il consiglio è quindi quello di attendere la pubblicazione di informazioni ufficiali; nel caso vogliate continuare ad usufruire dei servizi del Playstation Network/Store senza essere costretti ad aggiornare il firmware alla versione più recente, potete bypassarne il controllo seguendo questa guida.
